We want to invite anyone downtown to visit the store Well Done Goods. That’s where our furniture is currently being displayed.
Here’s an article explaining it HERE
They even gave us a shout out on their new website!
…sustainable tables from Union Town Woodshop, handmade in Detroit by two firefighters working for over twenty years with redwood, oak and walnut slabs exclusively sourced from felled trees.
Since we’ve been involved with them and some of the other local businesses downtown, we’re amazed to see how many new and exiting things have been happening in the D. We’re happy to be part of it!
Also – off their website they explain what the overall theme of this store will be
Well Done Goods Founder Shorb notes, “What happens when aliens crash-land in Detroit with a flying-saucer-load of design favorites from the MoMA Store, a local screenprinting shop and the contents of a natural history museum’s basement?” An emphasis on well-designed products, hyper-unique finds and most importantly affordable gifting options will be the overall direction for this new project, with Shorb adding “no pretense and tons and tons of fun!”
Well Done Goods will be open 11-7 weekdays; Saturday 10-8; and Sunday 11-6 throughout the holiday season. With a 10-foot reclaimed hospital emergency room sign as a focal point of their shop decor, WDG is “here to cure all your fashion and gifting emergencies.”
